Toby is a Master Practitioner and corporate wellness trainer who has been practicing eastern healing arts for almost 20 years, mostly in Asia, working and studying massage, Tai Chi, Qi Gong and meditation. In addition he has studied hypnotherapy, acupuncture and nutrition and has worked with Olympic gold medalists, premier league football players and members of the England rugby team. Toby’s broad expertise offers highly effective pathways towards clarity, health and holistic well-being.
Massage and Relaxation
Based on the principles of Chinese medicine, this deeply relaxing massage focuses on opening the energy channels throughout the body, stimulating the internal organs and releasing tension in the head, neck, back and shoulders. Using a combination of oil and deep tissue massage, this therapy produces a deep state of relaxation, allowing the energy to flow freely and the body to rejuvenate and heal itself.
Chi Nei Tsang
An abdominal massage that releases tension in the abdomen caused by stress, poor dietary habits and negative emotions. This relaxing massage also detoxifies the internal organs, stimulates metabolism and reduces digestive disorders.
Yoga massage is an ancient Ayurvedic healing art. Through application of pressure on energy lines and points, and a vast array of passive stretching movements performed with the hands, feet, knees and elbows, the body experiences profound relaxation, increased flexibility and increased flow of blood and oxygen around the body.
This energy healing technique puts the body into a deep state of relaxation, allowing it to release emotional and physical tension. It is administered by laying the hands on or near the body to allow the energy or life force to flow freely. When life force energy is blocked, we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is flows abundantly, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
Therapeutic Massage with Acupuncture
Targeting specific areas of pain in the body, this treatment uses a combination of massage techniques to restore blood flow to the affected area, followed by acupuncture to relieve pain via the nervous system. A therapeutic treatment relieving discomfort and bringing the body back into balance.
