Peak season is from December to May, although there are a host of other great times to visit. For example there is Songkran in April to welcome the Thai New Year. In August, the Queen's birthday – Thailand’s Mother’s Day - is celebrated. Loy Kratong day, occurs in November, allowing visitors the opportunity to join with the locals to set adrift illuminated offerings.
High season is from November to April, during which we promote outdoor and daytime activities such as hiking, biking, and many more adventures and excursions. During the warmer months from May to September, the property offers a large variety of indoor and evening activities, in addition to whale shark watching from January to March.
January For New Year’s Eve there is a gala celebration with cocktails, New Year’s Eve Dinner, followed by a fireworks display.
April A national water festival traditionally celebrates Songkran, the Buddhist Lunar New Year. Guests can join the water splashing activities with our hosts and go out on the town for even more fun.
August August 12 - The Queen’s Birthday - This day is also known as Mother's Day in Thailand. Guests are invited to light candles and join in the singing of Her Majesty the Queen's favorite songs to celebrate her birthday.
November Celebrate 'Loy Kratong Day' by floating mini kratong made from banana leaves and flowers to give thanks to the God of Water and to make wishes for a happy future. Guests are invited to join the Loy Kratong Festival by floating kratongs at the resort.
December December 5 - The King’s Birthday - This day is also known as Father's Day in Thailand. Guests are invited light candles and join in singing His Majesty the King's songs to celebrate his birthday. Buildings, private homes and businesses are illuminated to celebrate the King's birthday.
First Saturday of Every Other Month Samui Fine Dining Festival - Six Senses Samui organizes the Six Chefs Six Courses Charity Dinner at Dining on the Rocks. Reserve a table at Dining on the Rocks on that particular evening, and all the proceeds will be donated to a Samui charity.
